After learning about the wonders of technology while volunteering in the Singapore Fintech Festival in 2018, I discovered where my interests lie and changed course to Financial Informatics in Singapore Polytechnic. Since then, I have been harnessing skills and languages such as Python, R and Web Development. After years of study, I led my team to champion the PolyFinTech100 API Hackathon 2020 under Decentralised Finance! Hoping to apply my skills for the better good of society.
As a true blue Singaporean and arguably, a daughter of a tiger mum, my childhood entertainment consists of Mediacorp and only Mediacorp. An avid fan of local production, I have watched countless dramas ranging from Drama Serials on Channel 8 to Info-Ed on Channel 5. My idol is Jesseca Liu! Goddess in my eyes. I can also sing the theme songs of many shows even if they premiered years ago. Unfortunately, I believe I am a rare breed nowadays:(
Music is love. Music is life. Music brings so much happiness to me! The occasional swaying of hips when the radio turns on. The random humming while baking. The freedom from adding notes to the mundane. I love it. I might not be blessed with extraordinary vocals, but I do enjoy a hopefully melodious performance I give in the bathroom. Joy in life's simplicity.
